【Abstract】Objective To investigate the bladder operation combined with gemcitabine plus cisplatin chemotherapy in muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) clinical efficacy and adverse reactions in the treatment of. Methods Collected in our hospital in January 2008 - 2010 December 30 cases transurethral resection of the bladder tumor cut electric (TURBT) postoperative pathological examination clear myometrial invasion of bladder cancer patients. The tumor staging for: T2N0M0, T3N0M0 tumor for single or multiple, maximum tumor diameter less than 4cm, chemotherapy, gemcitabine + cisplatin (GC) and gemcitabine 1000 mg / m2 on 1, 8 days of intravenous infusion and cisplatin 30 mg / m2 intravenously, 2 - 4 days, 21 days each repeated underwent 4 - 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Results 30 cases of patients were followed up for average 36 months, 20 cases of patients without recurrence and metastasis, 10 cases of patients with recurrence, 2 cases of chemotherapy 2 cycles after recurrence, again TURBT after four cycles of chemotherapy and follow-up without recurrence, 4 patients received radical cystectomy, 4 patients received radiotherapy underwent TURBT, and 2 patients died of tumor recurrence, 1 case survival with tumor, 1 cases of patients with no recurrence. All patients without serious side effects of chemotherapy, can be tolerated, no chemotherapy deaths. Conclusion TURBT postoperative diagnosis of muscular layer infiltration of bladder cancer were treated with gemcitabine plus cisplatin chemotherapy can significantly improve the curative effect and effectively reduce tumor recurrence, relative to the total cystectomy and improve the quality of life of patients, the patients are easy to accept, is inoperable for a full bladder resection or unwilling to do radical cystectomy for bladder cancer patients provides a new mode of treatment.
