Objective:To investigate the differences of clinic efficacy between two kinds of open radical prostatectomy(ORP). Methods:Retrospectively analyze the clinical datas of 84 patients with ORP in our hospital from February 2013 to February 2015. 47 cases received ORP and 37 cases received retrograde ORP.The operative outcomes and complications between two groups were recorded. Results:There was no peri-operative death and cancer specific death. The estimated blood loss of antegrade group was less than that of retrograde group(P<0.05);the cutting edge positive rate of antegrade group was less than that of retrograde group(P<0.05);the complication occurrence of antegrade group was less than that of retrograde group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Antegrade radical prostatectomy provides a low incidence of complication, and is better than retraograde operation with less blood loss and lower cutting edge positive rate.
