Objective To study the pathological characteristics of patients with positive single needle aspiration biopsy after radical prostatectomy. Methods From September 2017 to October 2018, 85 patients with prostate cancer admitted to our hospital were selected. All patients underwent prostate biopsy with positive single needle. Relevant clinical data were analyzed and grouped according to preoperative factors to observe the clinicopathological differences. Results There was no difference in the pathological characteristics of the patients in different age groups and there was no difference in pT0 stage, incision margin positive stage, pathological stage>T2 on different PSA.There was no difference in pT0 stage, incision margin positive stage, pathological stage>T2 on different clinical stages(P>0.05).The proportion of Gleason≥7 in patients with PSA≥10 ng/mL was significantly higher than that in patients with PSA<10 ng/mL,and that in patients with clinical stage cT1 in pT0 stage was significantly higher than that in patients with cT2(P<0.05).There was no difference in pT0,positive incision margin and Gleason≥7 on the Gleason score(P>0.05),but the pathological stage of patients with 4+3 score was higher than 6, 3+4 and≥8,with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions Single needle positive prostate biopsy can not be used as a lowrisk screening index for prostate cancer. Most single needle positive patients need active treatment, which is conducive to improving the prognosis of patients and is worth applying.
