Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of ureteral pipeline plugging device implemented in ureteroscopic Di laser lithotripsy. Methods: The clinical data of 70 patients treated by the ureteroscopic lithotripsy (URL) in our hospital during the period from Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. The 48 patients didn’t implement pipeline occluder (control group) and the 22 patients implemented pipeline occluder (observation group). The stone clearance rate, operation time, hospitalization time and incidence of complications in the two groups were observed and compared. Result: compared with the control group, the stone clearance rate was significantly increased, the operation time was obviously reduced, the incidence of complications were significantly decreased with statistical difference in the observation group, P<0.05. Conclusion: During the peirod of ureteroscopic Di laser lithotripsy, the ureteral pipeline occluder has the advantages of minimally invasive operation and is worthy of clinical promotion.
